closing time....

every NEW beginning comes from some other beginning's end. With a NEW year upon us, it's time for a NEW beginning in our world. (And no, for those of you reading between the lines, there is NOT a new baby in our future! But nice try...) Looking around, we find ourselves at a fairly NEW stage in the parenting world - the end of babyhood and the beginning of toddlerhood. What a mix of emotions and a whirlwind of experiences!

So, in the spirit of NEW things, we are starting this blog to keep you up to date on the happenings of the Allans, with the spotlight of course being on the comings and goings of our pride and joy, Micah David. One of our promises to ourselves is to try and keep this more up to date than we have done with Micah's babysite.....so if you're looking for news and pictures, this will be the place to come!

We will brag - I mean, post - about his physical, cognitive, social, emotional, and most importantly spiritual growth as often as we can. Or, we might just share stories and pictures with you that capture the essence of who Micah is. In our next post, we will explain how we came up with the title for the blog.
